Re: [m-hb] Guild meeting 5/6
At the last MIT Guild meeting, we decided to have another MIT Guild meeting
separate from the Advent Guild meeting. It was supposed to be short and
mostly a formality to elect the student officers, which we are supposed to
do in the spring. However, I just found out that the new re-recognition
process requires us to have the line "membership must be more than half
students" in our constitution. The deadline for that is 5/12 and a Monday
would be easiest for setting up a hybrid meeting like last time, so I
picked the last Monday before the 12th. We do need 2 weeks notice before
voting, which is why the vote will not happen at the meeting but will be
slightly later by some online means. I thought it would be good to give
people a chance to discuss the changes all at once, but if necessary we can
just do it over email. Kat and I just discussed and decided it would be ok
for the ringing master to be absent since this meeting is mainly for the
MIT side of things. If other people want to be there and can't, let me
know and we can consider other options.
