Maybe it's not quite as destructive as reversing a lead acid cell, but 
it's 
still a pretty bad thing to do to your cells.  That is not going to help 
them live long and zappy lives.

I'm not a EE, but I think that most of the time when you parallel multiple 
battery packs, you want the interconnections between packs to be short and 
low resistance, so the packs share the total load equally.  Then you 
connect 
all the loads to this big battery.

If you do as you describe above, I suspect you may get some uneven 
discharging going on, with one pack going flat before the other.  Which 
one 
it is would depend on the proportional resistance of the wiring and the 
internal impedance of the batteries (the pack of 60 will be lower).
