Well, I took it out again before it had fully charged and almost got
stuck in the road. Just powering through the snow is better than trying
to back up a hill, noted. Very glad reversing NiCD cells is not really
too bad of a thing....
It's going to be on a couple of hour charge before I work again this
evening. One thing I am noticing is that this is pushing the power bus
in the tractor to the limit. I have 30 BB600's up front that are not
connected to anything, but I'm beginning to think about tying those into
the tractor not at the main disconnect but directly to the non-appliance
side of the main accessory contactor. Thought being they would then be
able to power the snowblower directly when called on, reducing the load
on the contactor to main bus wires. For driving around in general they
would simply back-feed into the bus through the accessory lines.
Thoughts?
