Just run the lift at 36 volts and replace the fuse with a 7-10 amp fuse for overload protection. However the lift will have incredible speed and torque; it will lift your snowblower with what can be described as nice speed.
Lights can be run off a 12-36 inverter if you really want to but I might build a simple cluster of LEDs instead for each bulb. I wouldn't mind nice bright headlights.
