I'm no expert on this stuff, but from what I've seen, most ICE mowers have 
blades with fairly aggressive lift.  OTOH, ET blades are flat.  I'd guess 
that the ICE blades would need significantly more power (and use more 
energy).

IIRC, someone on this list was experiementing with ICE-type blades on the 
ET 
some years back.  (Gator brand maybe?)  Anyone recall the outcome of that 
test?
