That depends on the charger. There are a couple of circumstances where
using a charger on a running EV could cause damage.

There is another problem: If you pull too much power through the charger
you could blow the diodes. That could be a problem.

Definitely a point.

Any decent modern charger will have a brick wall current limit that should prevent that but simpler chargers could well be prone to that given sufficient load.

Add it to the list.
