David, Thanks for the sermon - it is always worth hearing! Not to worry, there's no backfeeding going on here - the first thing installed was a transfer switch. Very inexpensive, easy to use and can also be used with a more conventional generator too. As an added bonus, most have watt meters built in - very useful for measuring your power output... -Russ
