OK - OK Bob asked a simple question, That was! Kleinbrahm, Bob wrote: I said to wire it in series with the Brake Switch (also the Seat Sw. & Key SW.). look at the wiring diagram for the Alltrax. You will see the SEAT SW., KEY SW., & BRAKE SW. are wired to the MAIN CONTACTOR. Turning off any of these will turn off the power to the Alltrax unit. If the tractor is moving it will just coast to a stop, NO FIELD POWER, NO PLUG BRAKING, & NO STRESS TO THE MOTOR OR CONTROLLER. I Put the Over Temperature Sw. their because there is no over temp safety in the Alltrax unit. So why not use it? besides it is close to the brake switch and was wired to it before. He did not ask about regen, series motors or 375 volt circuits in cars. Some times you guys get so tecked up that you just confuse the people asking the question. I am sorry if I offended anyone, that is not what I am trying to do here. Thank you Ralph V ralphgv talkamerica net ET Web page
