(ET) Crimping

After some more looking around, I finally had the "Aha!" moment and 
realized
that the hammer crimper unit can be used in a vise or a press.

I have access to a 3 ton arbor press, so I am going to proceed with the 
plan of
using a hammer crimper in the press.

Is there any way to visually judge a good crimp vs. a bad crimp?
