This is an interesting point. My manuals have no copyright notice
either. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but my very sketchy
knowledge suggests that this means that they are not protected by
copyright. But perhaps there is something which covers this in recent
intellectual property law. Is anyone familiar with copyright or IP law?
