Some reminders

1. A reminder that the Church of the Advent will be having its annual parish picnic this Sunday, June 23!  It would be great if we could have some good representation by the band for this; it would also be good if people could bring food
(The Church will be providing hot dogs and veggie burgers and probably hamburgers, and beverages; they traditionally ask people to bring salads, appetizers, and desserts, which is why I'm currently putting a batch of muffins together.)
If you're bringing something, please email me and Bryn, so that we can have some idea of whether we need to send someone out to the nearest grocery store for a cake; but even if you can't bring anything, I would encourage you to attend!  That also applies if you're the sort of person who hasn't make it to ringing much of late: I for one would still love to see you!

1b. The picnic tends to run pretty late, so if the Old North band wants to come back to the Advent for some post-QP celebration, the party should still be going on...

2. The National Twelve-Bell Broadcast is tomorrow!  Austin will be listening to it in person; the rest of us will have to content ourselves with tuning in via youtube, starting at 7AM EDT
(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtgohlpICbnCPm0vig3H_oA)
(Fear not, it will still be playable later if you're not up that early.)

3. And some more general reminders: Come to practice tomorrow!  Please remember to fill out the spreadsheet!  (For tomorrow or for future occasions.)  And sign up for July 4 ringing if you're available!

Hello all,

The Church of the Advent are hosting a summertime picnic in the garden following both masses, and it would be good of us to bring along some food as a show of good-will from the ringers (especially since we partake of coffee hour every Sunday!).

The Advent will provide hot dogs and drinks. They ask that others bring hors d'oeuvres, salads, or desserts. Please email me and Josh directly if you are planning to bring something. Doesn't have to be fancy or homemade. Probably the best thing to do would be to drop it off downstairs before you come up for ringing -- I'm sure they'll already be setting up by then.

Thank you,
Bryn
