However, I'm going to demonstrate my total ignorance here, so feel free to 
say I'm fulla beenz.   

I haven't seen the item you're describing, but from my admittedly limited 
personal experience with other Ryobi products, I suspect that your ET will 
still be humming along years after that Ryobi is in a landfill solmewhere.
