Trojan is considered one of the top brands, but they tend to be expensive. 
 
I've had mostly good luck with US Battery, which are more mid-priced, in 
road EVs.

I didn't get very good service from Johnson Controls batteries, but that 
was 
over 25 years ago.  

That said, an ET isn't a really high-stress application, certainly much 
less 
so than road EVs, so I don't know that it's all that critical.
