I too find they mostly produce enough light, though I have to admit that
those aircraft landing lights sound mighty appealing. You might have to
make sure they don't shine into the neighbors' windows when plowing or
mowing late at night. :-)
For years, I've wanted to get rid of the battery taps for the lights and
lift. That's why LED retrofits that can use 36v are interesting. But I'd
probably use a DC:DC converter or separate battery for the lift anyway, so
I
guess it doesn't make that much difference.
