Re: (ET) lights 12V lights and 12V lift

I have a New Idea with the Prestolite motor. At the Ohio swap meet last
summer we determined that it was the 18 V version. This week I removed and

cleaned all the batteries (long overdue) and when I re-installed them I
changed the lift motor to a 24 V connection. I have it on a 20 amp manual
circuit
breaker, which hasn't tripped with the front mower deck. Just now I
checked the amp draw when lifting the front deck - 14 - 17 amps. I don't
know
what it will do with the snow blower.

It runs considerably faster than it did at 18 V. Also, I have a spare
motor
in case I burn out this one.
