A follow-up on my original problem of no high speed: I'm not sure I totally understand the voltages I was getting during testing, but eventually the centrifugal switch became a suspect. (Sometimes the power pulse worked and sometimes not.) I plugged/unplugged the switch connector several times and the problem seems to be gone. Fingers crossed that it stays that way. :-) Thanks. Thon
