Re: (ET) Trouble with my C-185



Since this is a "South Bend" ET, {Wheel Horse}, it has the later seven speed controls. Plastic single coil contactors instead of those soon to be Unobtainium double coiled metal ones for armature reversing.

This tractor uses the single coil,plastic reversing contactors, does it
not ?

I've been fooling with it in neutral with the seat switch engaged.
When I switch to Forward, one of the reed switches kicks in, but
pushing on the accelerator gives me nothing.
I swapped out a few of the reed switches with some spares I had, but
no luck.
