I have a 48 volt, XP-1100 (1100 watt) Exeltech sine wave inverter.  
They're 
available in 36 volt too, and in voltages up to 108 by special order, if I 
recall right.  

These are extremely high quality, American made inverters, with a clean 
output waveform and generous surge capacity.  They're definitely not 
priced 
to compete with the $150 Chinese reference design modified square wave 
inverters -- but if you want real quality and reliability, and an inverter 
that puts out better than utility grade power, this is your guy.
