I have 2 Elec-traks.
Bought a set of Sam's Club batteries in 2001 and another set in 2003.
Both sets of batteries are still going strong.
Maybe the batteries they sell now are not as good or you must have gotten bummers.
When mine eventually need to be replaced, I'll be hesitant about where to buy them.
