Well, I ordered them in advance, as I suspected it, but I took apart my
paren'ts E-16 drive motor today and sure enough, the brushes were toast.
The commutator was a little worse for wear, but I think it is
serviceable with sandpaper, or I might clean it up on a lathe.
So It might be time for main motor brushes for some tractors out there...
PS anyone know the V belt size for an E-16 offhand?
