A friend who collects park bus items on e-bay mentioned he (as 
looser on items) often is contacted later by the winner offering the 
item for an even higher price. It must work often enough to make a 
profit. He hasn't bitten so doesn't know if the seller ever 
delivers. There's always a scam...
