(ET) trimming bolts on T-105s

I used a plain old hacksaw and cut off the extended posts on my new
batteries. To prevent the filings from contaminating the battery, I used 2
inch wide masking tape and paper towels to catch the mess which then made
it
easy to keep the battery top clean. I have experienced no problems with the
results. The supplier told me that the changed batteries are OK to trade in
when needed. Luck to you.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I think I'll first try a big pair of bolt
cutters from work, and if that won't do it (may not be able to open
enough, or may be too difficult to squeeze it shut), I'll give the old
hacksaw a try. I'll leave the grinder on the shelf for this one - don't
want to have a battery blowing up in my face. That sounds dangerous!

THanks,
Mike

Got a love the Virginias, a fire from old fence posts, a pot of beans, a
couple of bottles cheap red wine and a tractor and they are as happy as
.................

However, the camp sight is a No Scrapple Zone. They do have standards, low
ones but still standards.

Ok, thanks! Is it true that you and Billy are staring in a cooking
show down in Ole' Ginny? I did admire that Dutch oven you had at the
show. I think I might have to get one for next year. Scrapple and
hots dog casserole cooked slow over an open fire...lol.
