hi chris and all,  don't know what bill got, but i think there are many 
old 
decks floating around the known world, and many more hidden away where the 
owners may not realize they have them.  the standard midmount deck won't 
fit the 
standard large frame et.  only the extended frame et's like the 12m and 
certain 
newidea and possibly wheelhorse models will take a standard midmount deck. 
 
    i can find good bare decks around albany ny for under 200, usually,  
and 
know of new small frame bare decks for 400.  there appear to be pockets of 
et 
equipment popping up, especially here in the east.  with folks like geof 
on 
this list, we may all be able to buy a new et someday.  jon k albany ny
