- But the big problem is that my original circuit didn't have a shunt, at least not one I recognized as such. And if - it was just a length of wire like Steve said he saw on a E20, then I have no idea which wire it was.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add:
The E12S (and E15 too I think) use a piece of copper sheet about an
1"x3" (I'm guessing here) just about in the middle of the relay area
behind the large panel under the dash. It's set up as a four point probe
- big bolts at each end for power connections with two small sense
connections in between. One is adjustable. I believe some listers here
have mentioned problems with corrosion around the various connections to
the shunt so it may not be a good choice to keep (Others, am I right
about that?).
