     Chris................Point taken .  At the same time, my old fashioned 
ideas lead me to keep potential sauces of ignition, {circuit opening 
devices, such as switches, fuses, circuit breakers and contactors.} 
physically separate from potential sources of fire and explosion.
      Again, I point to the original engineering. Sixties production 
techniques, technology that has it's roots firmly anchored in the late 
Fifties, and those guys still had the foresight to put the line disconnect 
and fuselink IN the control cabinet . Physically  away from the power pack .
       Those of you on the list that have over the road EVs, 
..................where is the fault current protection located on those ? I 
could be all wet here, but my curiosity is killing me .......... ;)
