Thanks to all who replied. I tried this charger and
it has no output. I took the cover off and it doesn't seem to have any kind of
timer in it either. It's just a transformer, a capacitor and some diodes. I
really don't think I'd want to use it if it did work. I would forget to unplug
it and let it run too long. I was wondering if anyone could suggest where to get
a decent used charger. I also put my 12 volt charger on each of the three
batteries for about 1 1/2 hours. Two of them read 11.5 volts and the third only
reads 9.5 volts. It ran the motor good enough for me to tell it was okay as well
as the transmission. I think I'd like to replace the batteries. What do I need
to look for in new batteries? They are 12 volt, that all I know about them. I
don't really want spend a lot of money on batteries and a charger. This is
going to be used mainly to get around at tractor shows. I do want a decent
quality battery though. It does have a mower deck on it so I may use it to do
the trimming if it works out okay. I'm open to any suggestions.
