That's REALLY clever. Interesting fuse and control requirements, but well
worth the complication.

Here's an idea to run 3 12V motors on a 36V pack - connect each motor
across 2 of the batteries. Each pair of 2 batteries is 12V and runs one
mower motor. You would need a separate contactor for each motor. It
should be a pretty well balanced load, and if one stalls, no effect on the
other 2,
