(ET) Bill and the Costa Rican guy
>The Costa Rica guy already has a deposit down with Bill for everything.
>The sale price is about $100,000.00 (must be one big organic
farm).
Ok, I am little slow but this looks more like the start of a new
"Electric Tractor" company than an Organic farm. Clearly this Costa Rican
fellow is going into production at some level and sees an opportunity.
Costa
Rican corporate farms can be very large operations. However, This guy see
the potential of ETs in South America. BTW this has been done in Asia with
several other tractor lines (notably the old Massy Ferguson) where simple
dependable equipment is needed. I suspect he is either a E list member or
lurking (hi there and welcome)
As for the rest of us, hey there may be hope we might be
buying New Parts from Costa Rico. It was this way for punch buggies for a
long time. I had to go back to school to learn about Electro mechanical
stuff, maybe now I'll go back and learn Spanish. If Costa Rican Guy has a
fax and e-mail we could be ahead of the game.
WRT Decals Bill was getting them from a third party,
perhaps
we could ask Bill for that contact. Can't see what good this information
would be to anybody but the list folks.
My 2 Cents
