Hello Ralph,
Congratulations on your installation !
I felt the standard ramp rates (for golf cars) was
a bit abrupt also on my E-15. I have mine turned down to 2 I
believe. The ramp rate is programmed in by the test stand we use to test
the controllers. After more of us have used the controller in the
ET's and we find a ramp rate that we all think is the best for most
applications, I can re-program the tester to set the ramp at the level we
desire. Our goal is to provide you with a product that comes out of the
box and works the way you want it to without having to "Program" the
controller. After users get use to the way the controller operates I
imagine that some may want to raise the envelope a little for more action or
fun.
Ralph did you get the software down loaded
ok? Please let me know if you had any problems because of our
website. You will find the controller is really easy to change once you
get the software set up on you computer. Remember you can power up the
controller on the desktop with a 12 battery or two nine volt batteries in series
and make changes to the settings before you even install the unit. You
should have received a diagram showing how to hook up the two nine volt
batteries. If not please let me know !
Thanks for your report ! Looking forward to
your pictures also !
