Re: (ET) Transaxle leak

For everybody wqho is now or may have to work on a transaxle: when the
transaxle in my E10M needed to be reoaired a couple of years ago, I got
afrom Bill Gunn a copy of "TRANSAXLE SHOP MANUAL". The title page bears the
AVCO NEW IDEA logo. It appears to cover all the units used in ET's. It was
only about $20 as I recall. Another resource which Bill Gunn is invaluable
for. We (my son-in-law, who is an experienced mechanic, rebuilt it for me)
found it invaluable. It ios a xerox-like copy, but it is a good
reproduction. The illustrations are quite clear. I recommend it. We would
probably never have gotten the transaxle back together properly without
that
manual.

If anyone is interested and has a web page I could upload to, I would scan
and upload the title page and a couple of tables which tell which Model
Transaxle is used with each model of ET.
