Plow
limits? Depends on whether you are on concrete or gravel. On
concrete, with moderatly wet snow, the limit is about the height of the blade;
higher than that and you get stuck on what comes over the top. On
gravel, about a foot is the limit. The big problem in the single plow (I
don't know anyone with the double plow) is STEERING. When things get
packed, the front of the tractor doesn't have enough footing to stay in the
direction you point it. You end up plowing about 2/3 or less of the plow
width to stay straight. As far as traction, the main thing is to keep the
back wheels on as dry a location as you can. On concrete you should
be on dry pavement at the back wheels. Once you have packed snow on the
sides, you have to beat on it a few feet at a time pushing the mound straight
out... slow work.
The snow thrower is fine for powder, but wet snow plugs
it pretty fast. You end up having to go unreasonably
slow.
