I checked the can. I believe it was Acrylic latex; need to re-check to see
if it was enamel.

I'll let it dry over the winter and see how it holds up in the spring. If 
it
chips and is crummy I can always wire-brush remove it and start over. The
main value right now is that it is covering up the bare metal.
