Re: (ET) Large Frame Mower Deck

With all this talk of mower decks fresh in mind, I started stripping the parts off a rotted-out deck... and noticed on the way that one motor was wired backwards from the other two, that the rollers were all worn and tapered, the blades dull, chipped and misshapen, and that the tractor has the plow blade/snow thrower bracket rather than the bracket for the mowing deck.

No wonder people think the things don't work and leave 'em in the shed to rot.

A very important item, Make sure the blades are turning in the correct
rotation. Due to dynamic braking, this is a 2 man operation. I have seen
many of motors either not wired correct on top with the wires reversed.
