i've seen some of those bearings be sooo tight that a small hydrallic 
press 
with appropriate bearing pullers was the only way i could get them off.  i 
used a jc whitney $100 press but with luck you may be able to do it with 
just 
a bearing/pulley puller.  good luck, jon k albany ny
