Yeah, it's steel with a braze, and a press and a 'custom' hardened slot in
a press is what I use. I have mushroomed a grade 8 bolt (5/16"-24?)
threaded into the hole to push against the shaft.... If it doesn't move
easy, heat is pretty handy...

Once the flange is pulled off, an long bolt, threaded into the armature
shaft, and the hub firmly trapped in the press plates, has yet to resist a
20 ton hydraulic press.
