Full-size gc batteries with the universal stud-type terminals don't clear
the seat on mine. I had to cut 'em off when I was using gc batteries.

The partly-flattened-partly-round terminals with holes in them (can take
either a lug or a auto-type clamp terminal) work OK.

Using auto-type clamps is probably the most universal approach.
