This would work, but I'm too much of a purist to do this.  I had trouble 
with mine and took the laborious route.  I gently cleaned every pad on the 
board with fine steel wool, and cleaned the connectors with a sliver of 
400-
grit sandpaper.  Then I applied (lightly) Cramolin Blue.  No problems 
since 
then.
