Steve, I am trying to rescue an ET20 I got from my cousin. It sat in a
barn for 20 years. The first surprise was the front battery box was 1/3
full of real old quail eggs. He use to raise them. (more surprises) If
you have trouble with the drive motor check under the dash for mouse
nests. Mine had one on top of the circuit board. They chewed thru the
wires for the field resistors. I fixed that and it still didn't run. I
found the acid in their "P" ate some copper off the circuit board. I
fixed that and it still didn't run. Then I found the "P" ran down the
board into the connecter and ate half the contacts off. I replaced that
and it ran good. Now I have it all apart to restore it Hope you don't
find any surprises.
