Re: (ET) Deck motors, etc.



A note on mixing motor diameters:
    I haven't tried this, but Bill Gunn of Technical Service and Parts said
that you can succesfully mix the motor diameters so long as the odd sized
motor is in the center.  As part of that conversation, he said that the
small diameter motors last longer, but he wished that there were more of 
the
large diameter motors.  This is a guess, but I took that to mean that the
large diameter motors were more powerful, but needed more frequent service
for brush replacement.  I guess that I should have had him clarify that
statement at that time.
