Re: MIT Guild Meeting

Without the constitution in front of me, my recollection is that the
requirement for guild membership is attending practice (handbells and/or
tower) or service three times in a year. I presume that also includes
wedding ringing. We could say that at least a dozen of the accepted
students are 1/3 of the way to membership, having learned to hunt on
handbells in the athletic center. Do we know which ones are really
planning to attend? Would they like to start off a new year by being an
officer?
I’d like to add discussion of money in general to the agenda - how we
get it, how we spend it. The church asked for a budget this year, which
they hadn’t done since the rehanging. Ed might know if anything might come
of it. We ask members or visitors for no dues, steeplage, or rope fees. We
have $960 is wedding money, with two more scheduled this year. We repaid
Elaine for a lot of our debt to her, but is there more? Ricky should be
reimbursed for some stuff (hasn’t requested it). Ricky and Austin, at a
minimum, paid bellboard/RW quarter donations out of pocket.

I'm probably being clueless here, but:

- Review old business
- Officers' reports
- Elect new members
- Elect new officers
- New Business:
(Form committee to look into hosting an AGM?)
(Do we need any new equipment?)
    (Recruitment ideas?)

I would have thought that covered the bases, but again, I may be missin'
something here.
