RE: [apmultiples] gender stereotypes

You know, I rarely if ever spend $20 on a pr of shoes for ME (I'm a
payless girl LOL), but we got a pr of Bobux in some hand-me-downs &
they're the ONLY thing that'll stay on the girls' feet, so I got a pr of
Robeez on ebay so both girls could have shoes. Oh & if anyone's trying
to decide between Robeez & Bobux, the difference is the Bobux are hand
wash & the Robeez are machine wash. Since the girls love to try to get
their shoes off & chew on them (or forget about getting them off, just
chew on sister's, being able to throw them in the washer & know they're
clean is important to me.

And LOL at your feet being cold so making them wear something on their
feet. I'm the opposite, I pretty much am ALWAYS barefoot, so even in
winter the girls tend to only wear socks/shoes if we're going outside
:-) My grandmother's sure I'm going to freeze my kids to death LOL.

It would seem that we belong to the "LaRee Brown" school of
baby-clothing!   We got frustrated when we couldn't find snap or zip
crotch
all-in-one things after they got to 18 month sizes!  Now in the bitter
weather they wear longsleeve turtleneck onesies and sweatpants with a
fleece on top if it is really cold!

This might also be a good place to mention how much we like Robeez, soft

washable leather shoes they wore outdoors till cold weather.  Inside,
now,
they keep them from taking off their socks!  Who said that a sweater is
something you wear because your mother is cold?  If my feet are cold I
don't want them barefoot!
