Re: (ET) Puck Style Brake Pads
Thank You for all this good info.
Many years ago I cut apart (drilled the rivets) a new old-stock riveted
automotive brake pad (probably asbestos ...) and cut it into a circle,
to fix one of my tractors.
It worked, but I DON'T recommend it.
NOT as clean (edges & appearance) as buying the pre-made ones, and it is
definitely smarter NOT to be cutting any unknown pad material.
So, Thank You for the part numbers, and testing.

FINAL THOUGHTs on this rear hocky puck brake pads brake job. Yes, they
do work, and the brake is very solid early, works GREAT in limited
garage testing. I had to add two more washers to the pull mechanism
(it came with 3) and more importantly I found out that to make them
work great you need to add a US Quarter/25 cent piece behind each puck
to give it more reach. Once I added the quarters the the pedal became
firm within 1/2" of pedal travel, I'm guessing. Overall, very pleased
with what I see now, especially with what I experienced with the old
pads and pedal travel.
The caliper housings came really clean with a bath of 50/50 warm water
and white vinegar. Everything lubed and the rotor polished with a 50
grit sand paper.
Onward to wrapping up the wiring.
