IMO they're outstanding controllers.  They're especially suited to the PM 
motors used in the small frame ETs, and some of the later large frame 
tractors.  I originally bought this one for my riding mower (Avco New Idea 
R36), but never got round to installing it.  I was too busy using the 
mower 
in the summer, and it was too cold in the garage in the winter. :-)
