Re: (ET) Grease Your ET's Axle Spindle

Good call.  I had one get galled / seized years ago, and I thought I had greased it.  Since then I hit all of the zerks at least once a year, and more often if the steering effort goes up even a bit.

Hi All.
I mowed several times this spring with my C-185 [E20[ and noticed the steering was very tight.
Then I remembered that is the late 1990s I greased the front axle spindle.
Today after a quick grease job, the steering Is like new.
Maybe I should grease these axles more often

The ET manual at
on pages 127 and 128 shows the axle spindle grease fittings.
Need to turn the front wheels full left and right for access to the grease fittings.

Thanks,
