You
will find the Av lamps more than
adequate, even with the narrow
beam spread. :) Note that they do
have an anticipated lifespan of about 25 hours. I have
replaced mine twice since the initial install in 1987. The utility lamp holders are still available at NAPA. Not finding an illustration at NAPA, this is a link to a similar product. http://www.waytekwire.com/item/47726/Sealed-Beam-Tractor-Utility/ Note that early on in usage, you will smell the volatile components of the rubber cooking off with the 4509 bulbs installed. This will diminish after a few hours of continuous usage at 20 degrees F or colder. :) RJ On 2/19/2016 6:20 PM, David Roden

They're 1500 lumens each for around $14 per.Make that about $5 each. https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/96205/AIRL-4509.html Don't forget that you'll also need some kind of bucket for them. Big downside: they have a very narrow beam spread, only 12 degrees horizontal, 6 deg vertical.
