Re: (ET) disintegrating fuse block connections



If you plan to stay with fuses I would suggest using a block using the  
strip fuses used in cars today and getting away from glass tube fuses.
 
On my New Idea I scrapped my fuse block and replaced it  with individual 
circuit breakers like the ones we used in our custom-built  truck 
sleepers. 
These are available in either automatic or manual reset type.  Federal 
standards do not allow auto reset types except for safety circuits (head  
light, 
tail lights, etc)
 
I would recommend the manual reset type for these circuits. You can see an

With breakers you don't have to carry spare fuses around.

I am considering the brass Cole-Hersee M414 which is a 4-fuse  block, but I
