Another way to change the gear ratio of the lift
system is to put a larger roller ring over the smaller roller ring
that the lift strap goes around.. I cut a 1 inch wide piece off of a 2
inch diameter PVC pipe. It works fine lifting my mower deck at about
half the previous speed. I think it would hold up OK lifting heavier
snow blowers, etc. A metal ring would be stronger of course. Bill Alburty, E12 Kansas |
