Re: (ET) Further front lift disassembly woes



40 yr old grease almost becomes glue.  I've been using white lithium grease when I rebuild these.  Not sure if it is the best solution, but it is a lot less thick / tacky.

Oh yes. Brake cleaner is great to get this junk off, be sure to regrease
lightly during assembly.
