There are also lead shims made to slide over the undersized terminal and bring it back to a diameter that the cable clamp can get a grip on.The trick of course will be finding a vehicle electrical shop that has them. :(

Wonder, if you cut away most of the terminal, put a clamp over the rest with maybe a piece of pop can as a liner inside and recast it if that would work ???
