Same as Pieter, I use a wheel powered Craftsman sweeper.

It's OK for pine needles, and I use it for persimmon leaves too
(although it fills up in a minute or two).

On sycamore leaves, it's far less work to just use a hand rake,
because the leaves are the size of dinner plates and lay in drifts
that can go two feet deep overnight.  I tried running the mower over
them first but that didn't work either, the leaves were too deep.
Some of them ended up in the toaster, which then smelled very seasonal
but not very safe.
